DRKSHDW Rick Owens

DRKSHDW is the textile- and denim-focused line from Rick Owens and has been central to his design universe since the mid-2000s. Initially rooted in denim, it developed into a complete wardrobe that translates Owens’ unmistakable aesthetic into a more immediate, everyday form.

Elongated and cropped proportions, dropped crotches, striking layered silhouettes, raw edges, intensive washes and coatings are all part of DRKSHDW’s vocabulary, alongside its signature trainers with high rubber soles.

Denim, canvas, jersey and cotton are treated as more than neutral base materials. Overdyeing, wax finishes, washes and surfaces designed to age transform their structure, giving the garments depth and individuality.
