Plate Necklace – Acid Gold + Sterling Acid Gold + Elbaite
Description
A narrow, pale pink-violet piece of elbaite lies lengthwise in the gold plate of this Parts of Four necklace. Fine parallel lines run through the stone, whose straight outline echoes the pendant's rectangular shape. An open window remains above it, carrying the substantial chain bail.
The Adaptation version combines Acid Gold and Sterling Acid Gold: acid-treated, 18K gold-plated brass and sterling silver with the same treatment. The pendant measures 10 × 47 × 5 mm and hangs from a 740 mm chain.

Founded by Evan Sugerman in 2011, Parts of Four deliberately works outside conventional ideas of jewellery. The label treats each piece as an object, defined by material, weight, surface and construction.
